EFESME Members Tap Leaders, Discuss Future in Brussels

Members of the European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (EFESME) elected leaders and discussed the future of the Federation during its Board of Directors meeting and General Assembly in Brussels, Belgium, on June 25. Massimo Bezzi of Italy was re-elected president, and Damyan Petrov of Bulgaria was elected vice president (VP). José María Compagni Morales of Spain stepped down as VP to assume the secretary general role. Morales takes over from Luciano Faletto of Italy, “who held the position for years with dedication and commitment,” EFESME observed. EFESME members also discussed the many activities carried out at the European and international level regarding standardization, as well as the various projects in which EFESME is involved to support European lift SMEs.
