Deco 969 Has Groundbreaking In Downtown Fort Worth, Texas

A high-rise residential building in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, had its groundbreaking ceremony, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat reported on October 19. The project, developed by Southern Land Co. and built by GDA Architects, is called Deco 969. It will be 27 stories tall and will cover a total area of 308,680 ft2. The building will contain 302 apartments and penthouses, with an average size of 1,090 ft2. The project will also contain 8,000 ftof retail space, eight floors of parking and a restaurant on the first floor. The project is part of the city’s goal to increase density and the city’s vitality, and is expected to be complete in the summer of 2023.
