Great Interest in Win Eurasia, the Innovative Fair of the Manufacturing Industry

The biggest international industry fair of the region, Win Eurasia Fair, opened its doors for the 29th time between 7-10 June with the motto “Industry meets the future.”

Win Eurasia Fair, one of the world’s most important industrial trade fairs, was organized by Hannover Messe. The official opening ceremony was held with the participation of İTO President Şekib Avdagiç, MAKFED Vice President M. Sefa Targıt and Deutsche Messe AG Senior Vice President Arno Reich, as well as Win Eurasia supporter non-governmental organizations, participant company representatives, industry professionals and members of the press.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deutsche Messe AG Senior Vice President Arno Reich said, “We are happy and excited to host trade professionals from all over the world, representing the manufacturing industry 360 degrees throughout every aspect, under the same roof in Istanbul for four days. Win Eurasia is organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey, which organizes the fairs of Germany-based Deutsche Messe AG in Türkiye, one of the world’s ten largest fair companies, since 1996. We organize more than 150 specialized fairs, especially Hannover Messe in Germany and other countries every year.”

M. Sefa Targıt, Vice President of MAKFED, said, “Win Eurasia Fair is an important meeting point that allows us to introduce and get to know the technology products related to machinery and manufacturing systems in the industrial field in Türkiye. We will be able to see the digital solutions of today and the future. In this regard, we will have an interesting fair experience.” Stating that machinery has quite an important place in world trade, Targıt said, “We estimate that the machinery market has reached the level of approximately 50 billion dollars in 2022. We also demonstrated our ability to export 25.5 billion dollars, including free zones in 2022. We broke our own record. Despite the pandemic conditions, we have increased our exports by 9% on average every year in the last five years.”

ITO President Şekib Avdagiç stated that Win Eurasia’s fair processes in Istanbul are among the fairs that are points of honor and said, “Win Eurasia stands out from other fairs with its quality, content, concept and appearance. As Istanbul Trade Chamber, we are the main shareholder of this exhibition center. We strive to provide our users with the opportunity of organizing fairs with a much more comfortable infrastructure in a short time. Hopefully, we will continue the process of making this place the highest quality fair center of Istanbul and Türkiye. Win Eurasia has been opened in six halls. We observe that there is a potential to expand to eight halls as soon as possible and then to 11 halls, if possible.”

Win Eurasia was held with the motto “Industries meet diversity.” With the participation of over 500 exhibiting companies, the exhibition space, which has reached gross 55,000 m2, hosted 38,586 buyers from 102 countries. The industry met the future at Win Eurasia, which strengthened its international identity with the participation of Germany, Taiwan, China and Korea. At the exhibition, all products, technologies and solutions that may be needed for the present and future of the manufacturing industry were presented under one roof.
