New Elevator Arrangement Kledelmans

Our new elevator arrangement increases the useful car area up to 30-50% without changing shaft dimensions. This new elevator arrangement decreases: material cost, installation time and waiting time on lobbies. This new design is used for new elevator installations and also for modernization projects while expanding the useful car area in group elevators, which will add time benefits to heavy traffic flow in commercial and residential buildings, as well as for marine elevators with limited shaft size. The new arrangement will allow for a more aesthetic view in panoramic elevators where the counterweight can be covered inside shaft divider beams. Cost, installation time and waiting times are reduced, and the car area increases up to 30-50%.

The elevator industry has not changed in about 200 years, working on the same principle. The new elevator arrangement completely overhauls the traditional way of elevator arrangement while decreasing time and material usage with respecting shaft dimensions. This new way of elevator arrangement has never happened before and this will change people live for better.

ATLAS Interlock NATIONWIDE LIFTS

The Atlas Interlock is a game changer for the residential elevator market.  This interlock is only 0.6 in. thick, making it the only interlock that fits within the 3/4 in. door to sill gap.  3/4 in. rule solved!

According to A17.1 section 5.3.1.7.2 for residential elevators, the clearance between the hoistway face of the hoistway doors and the hoistway edge of the landing sill shall not exceed 3/4 in.  Since this code was published in 2016, our industry has been searching for the right solution.  The only options have involved cutting landing doors and frames or installing custom metal frames.  These options are costly, time consuming, and ugly.

The Atlas Interlock installation is fast, inexpensive and aesthetically appealing to the homeowner.  The simple installation saves hours off typical elevator projects, making a huge impact on the bottom line.  The non-intrusive design leaves the doors and frames intact, pleasing customers and preventing unwanted disputes.  The response from elevator company owners, mechanics and homeowners has been overwhelmingly positive.

The Atlas Interlock is the thinnest interlock in the world.  Designing an interlock less than 3/4 in. thick required several innovations.  In fact, Nationwide Lifts was awarded a patent for the design.  In addition to compact size, the interlock far exceeds the endurance and strength requirements.  The Atlas Interlock has been certified by Intertek to meet the UL 104 Standard for Elevator Door Locking Devices and Contacts.

This patented new elevator interlock is the perfect solution for the 3/4 in. challenge that the residential market has been struggling to overcome.

cegard/Smart and SKYLER Elevate relayr

cegard/Smart and SKYLER Elevate provides easy installation, use and elevator health monitoring that is completely universal irrespective of the make, model or age. No additional hardware is required to enable the health monitoring function since the necessary hardware is fully embedded as part of the light curtain.

The product’s power lies in the highly sophisticated door edge and cabin vibration sensing capabilities, with the data being captured directly at the source. By leveraging sensors, this solution provides insights into the most frequent callback issues – those associated with the elevator doors. The data is processed and presented in an easy-to-leverage interface for the frontline specialists.

At least seven out of 10 breakdowns are caused by malfunctioning door systems, and ride quality is often a proxy for perceived overall quality of service from a rider’s point of view. Zooming in on potential equipment health issues before they become significant problems gives elevator companies a crucial advantage in proactively catering to their customer’s needs.

Imagine the benefits of reducing or even eliminating repeated callbacks. The product helps service providers address this everyday challenge. It is a first in the industry, developed based on proven technologies that complement each other perfectly.

This product is a result of the partnership between CEDES and relayr – uniting leading sensor technology with state-of-the-art IoT and AI.

ALUMINUM SERIES WURTEC

Wurtec’s Aluminum Series encompasses a growing number of aluminum alternatives to steel or cast-iron versions of the same tools. The Aluminum Series includes the following:

Aluminum Rope Clamps, an alternative to traditional cast-iron Roebling clamps.

The Aluminum Shortening Clamp, a lightweight alternative to cast-iron shortening clamps, available in both 6-rope and 8-rope versions.

The Aluminum Beam Clamp, a lightweight ratcheting clamp for rigging applications in hard-to-reach places; much easier to lift into place than a steel clamp!

The Aluminum Roebling Clamp Lifting Bar, which creates a secure hitching point for shortening wire ropes.

Aluminum has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than the steel and cast-iron metals commonly used in elevator tools. This enables us to make our elevator tools up to 53% lighter (for shortening clamps) or 68% lighter (for beam clamps) than existing alternatives. (One exception to this is the aluminum rope clamp, which has larger dimensions and more mass than cast-iron Roebling clamps but delivers more than double the working load limit.)

The weight reduction provided by these products reduces the risk of strains and sprains associated with regular lifting of heavy tools, and makes them easier to handle, transport and store.
