Türkiye industrial lift company specializes in finding solutions for special, problematic projects

Ali Onur Asansör has been providing industrial lifts and relevant professional services since 1998. Established in Manisa, Türkiye, near Izmir, the family business of owner Ali Onur and his two sons, Ahmet and Agnon, has since grown to an employee roster of 50. The company’s strong client base consists of both local and international customers.

“Some of our clients have been with us for more than 15 years now,” said Onur Asansör Export Sales Representative Büşra Zurnaci in an interview conducted during Interlift 2022. “It is an honor for us to develop long-term relationships with them by understanding and acting on their needs.”

The company specializes in finding solutions for special, problematic projects. The company is known as one to consider for challenging projects, and Zurnaci said that companies in need of their products and services seek them out.

Most of Onur Asansör’s business is abroad, with clients all over the world, including Europe, Asia and beyond. The main products produced by Onur Asansör are passenger lifts, goods lifts, freight lifts and anti-vandal lifts with a focus on freight lifts. The company manufactures freight lifts that can lift/handle 30 mT. Zurnaci said, “Size doesn’t matter to us. We can handle most projects, hydraulic and electric. Not many companies can do this.” One of the biggest specialty lifts the company has produced so far is a drone lift in Türkiye that is 14 m x 7 m x 8.5 mT capacity.

Additionally, the freight lift in the company’s booth at Interlift 2022 was 5000 kilos and can fit up to 66 people while being compliant with EN 81-20.

The company specializes in lifts for hospitals, airplanes, shopping malls, ones for lifting drones and lifts for “special reasons.” Each one is customized, and client satisfaction, along with the work quality, is very important. Onur Asansör is continually updating and innovating to be able to meet and answer client needs. The company follows trends in technology, raw materials and accessories and uses the latest technological machines and programs to produce the best product.

To preserve the high quality for which it is known, Onur Asansör focuses on very high-end work and projects. The company’s engineers analyze the project, structure and demands, conducting tests to find the most suitable system and creating this system according to the building’s standards.

When it comes to working on these projects, Zurnaci said:

“Everyone is important in the company, and clients are important. We are producing products together.” The company focuses on the team rather than the individual. Zurnaci said, “There is one big ‘us’ as a company. We have a highly skilled team with experience in their fields, both engineers and lift experts with many years of experience in the sector.”

According to the company website, Onur Asansör employees “believe that buildings also have a soul.” Their job is to reveal this spirit and “create a part of it by wandering through the imaginary world created in the structure and texture of the building.”
