Lift Emotion BV, based in Meppel, the Netherlands, manufactures custom elevators for some of the most luxurious yachts and homes in the world (ELEVATOR WORLD, November 2015). Earlier in 2016, the company’s success prompted a move to a new building approximately five times its previous facility’s size. In May, its principals hosted an open house, where they proudly showed off a four-stop, cylindrical glass lift destined for a private, high-end residence. Lift Emotion’s very wealthy clients demand complete privacy, so we don’t know where this elevator will be installed, but one can only imagine the house!
