Bill MacLachlan

Bill MacLachlan, president and owner of Hill Hiker, Inc., began his career in sales in the early 1980s. In 1990, he had the opportunity to join a small elevator company, Access Mobility, as national sales manager, setting out to develop its emerging interest in the inclined elevator market and worked to develop the product. He left Access Mobility after a few years and launched Hill Hiker in 1996. MacLachlan holds a limited Master Elevator Constructor License in many states and has received many accolades. Hill Hiker’s work has been featured in ELEVATOR WORLD may times and earned Project of the Year winners’ honors. Its projects have also been featured in The Wall Street Journal and other publications.
