Description: The installation line it is a very useful tool to understand if the wire rope has been installed with some induced torsion, that for sure will affect the rope's lifetime in service. Furthermore this line is as well useful in understanding if the sheaves are not well aligned, due to the fact that during the elevator trips you'll see the line spinning over the rope surface. Please refer to your wire rope manufacturer to understand which is the maximum number of line turn that are allowed for the specific type of rope.
