Interlift To Move From Augsburg to Nuremberg Starting in 2025

After more than 30 years in Augsburg, Germany, interlift, the world’s leading trade fair for elevators held every two years, will move to Nuremberg, Germany, VFA-Interlift e.V. and AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH announced on October 12. Bringing together more than 500 exhibitors to present their products and innovations from all over the world, interlift 2023 is taking place at Messe Augsburg in Augsburg on October 17-20. The next interlift is planned for October 14-17, 2025, at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. Observing the decision to move the fair was not easy, interlift organizers said it will “set the course for further development” and facilitate growth. Only approximately 200 km from Augsburg and still in Bavaria, Nuremberg boasts one of the top exhibition centers in the world, many hotels and is in close proximity to Nuremberg Airport and public transportation. “The Free State of Bavaria has always promoted the development of international trade fairs, which is why it was important that interlift should remain in Bavaria,” organizers said. The new location also ensures proximity for interlift’s numerous southern European exhibitors and visitors.
