3Phase-Excel Lands 200-Plus Unit VT Service Contract

3Phase-Excel Elevator & Escalator Corp. has landed a five-year vertical-transportation (VT) service contract with The Macerich Co. for 14 mall locations on the east and west coasts. 3Phase-Excel Northeast Regional President Mick Carnevale tells ELEVATOR WORLD the malls are in the Baltimore, Long Island and NYC areas on the East Coast and the Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco areas on the West Coast. The contract, which starts in November, includes full service of more than 200 elevators and escalators. “This win further increases our presence in the retail/mall sector, where we already work with Simon Property Group, Brookfield Properties and Urban Edge Properties,” Carnevale said.
