Alimak Group Releases 2021 Annual, Sustainability Report

Alimak Group AB, the Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of rack-and-pinion vertical-transportation systems, construction hoists and more, released its Annual and Sustainability Report 2021 on March 18. President and CEO Ole Kristian Jødahl said in a letter introducing the report that Alimak achieved “significantly improved” earnings during 2021 as it managed to offset most freight and raw materials price increases through “active price management and other mitigating activities.” Strong cash flow, he said, provides a solid foundation for further growth. Alimak Group is well-positioned to capture its full, sustainable value potential by providing solutions with an up-to-30-year lifespan and offering services that maximize equipment life, adding “long-term value for our customers.” As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, the company supports the organization’s 10 principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and has earned several important recognitions, including making Allbright’s Green List for its leadership team being 40% women, and receiving a Gold-rated sustainability scorecard from EcoVadis.
