Baden-Württemberg, Germany-based electric motor and fan manufacturer Ziehl-Abegg plans to host its International Royal eSports Masters tournament in August, an initiative aimed at recruiting that is growing, with teams from both Europe and the U.S. participating this year. Led by IT trainer Holger M. Rößler and a number of IT trainees, the 2022 third series of tournaments features the Rocket League, CS:GO and RainbowSixSiege eSports games and will take place on Saturdays and Sundays. The Toornament software package was used for organizing the event, and livestreaming was enabled by Twitch. “Ziehl-Abegg is playing a pioneering role and making advances in development and production technology,” Ziehl-Abegg Executive Board Member Joachim Ley said. “Tournaments like these raise our profile amongst young people in a positive way.”
