TK Elevator (TKE) has introduced its cloud-based IoT predictive maintenance solution MAX in China, TKE announced on April 20. Launched in North America and select European markets in 2015, MAX collects and analyzes real-time data from connected elevators, escalators and moving walks to provide building operators with data that allows them to take full advantage of predictive and smart maintenance. Since its debut, MAX has integrated additional applications, including intelligent monitoring systems and a digital emergency call system. MAX complements TKE’s digital solution AGILE, which provides tailored infotainment and enables more efficient passenger movement through an innovative destination control system. AGILE is also available as a smartphone app that puts passengers even more in control of their vertical-transportation journeys. “With the expansion of our digital offering in China, one of the most important markets for TKE, we will further expand our market share in Asia and strengthen our position as a digitization driver in the industry,” TKE CEO Peter Walker said.
