Andrén to Join Hydroware as Head of Products and Learning

Andrén

Styrbörn Andrén will join Alvesta, Sweden-headquartered Hydroware as head of products and learning in January 2023 as the company gears up for expansion, Hydroware announced. One of the most prominent names in the Swedish lift industry, Andrén has more than 35 years’ experience, most recently as learning and development manager at KONE, where he also held the technical manager position. Previously, he was CEO of ITK AB and Hissgruppen AB. Known for its hydraulic lift modernization solutions, Hydroware was recently acquired by CapMan Buyout and plans to soon launch common control systems for both traction and hydraulic lifts. Recruiting Andrén is “one of many moves to organize the company to handle increased demand,” according to Hydroware. In addition to Andrén coming onboard, Erik Paulsson, previously head of sales, Nordics, and product manager, will become marketing director. He is succeeded by Kim Linkruus, in the head of sales, Nordics, role, while Volker Hager, in the head of sales support role, will focus on the rapidly growing export market.
