Barroso Named President of AECAE

Barroso

Eugenio Barroso, CEO of Seville, Spain-headquartered MP Lifts, has been named president of AECAE, the Spanish Association of Lift Components Manufacturers. Barroso succeeds Jesús de la Peña, who remains a member of the board. Barroso has worked for MP Lifts for more than 30 years, with roles including corporate director general and director of the commercial and sales departments. His work was instrumental during the company’s corporate restructuring in the early 2000s that culminated in 2006. Barroso earned a law degree from the University of Seville in Spain.
