Lifttechnika Kft. won first place in the “Elevator of the Year Application” announced by the Lift-S Association and the Hungarian Elevator Association for the year 2021-2022. Lifttechnika Kft. won the award based on the application of its Vimec A28 wheelchair lifting equipment for the main entrance of the Wenckheim Castle in Szabadkígyós, Hungary. The castle was built in 1875-79 and a historical restoration of the mansion took place between 2019 and 2022, within the framework of the National Palace and the National Castle Programme, coordinated by the (NÖF) National Heritage Protection Development Nonprofit Ltd. In addition to the technical solution, the professional evaluation committee evaluated how the design matched the interior of the listed building and awarded the elevator first place. Lifttechnika Kft. was founded in 1990 for the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and repair of uniquely designed elevators, lifting machines and building accessibility equipment throughout Hungary. By 2023, Lifttechnika Kft. has achieved a market share of more than 6% in Hungarian elevator production and has prepared the design documentation for nearly 3,500 elevators and lifting machines, installed 2,000 barrier-free devices, and manufactured and installed approximately 1,500 elevators in Hungary. In addition, it maintains and repairs 800 elevators and barrier-free equipment throughout the country
