A 70-story Cavalli-branded tower that contains luxury residences is planned at Dubai Marina by the billionaire owner of both the Italian fashion brand and DAMAC Properties, DAMAC reports. Aimed at restoring faith in the Roberto Cavalli SpA brand, which battled bankruptcy in 2019, the US$545-million tower is expected to break ground in 2022 and be complete in 2026. Hussain Sajwani, founder and chairman of Dubai-based DAMAC Properties, said in addition to opening stores, a similar Cavalli skyscraper could be built in Miami. The one in Dubai Marina is set to boast Cavalli-branded interiors, sky pools and gardens, and private pools and Jacuzzis for “super-luxury” residents.
