Demelza Chosen as 2024 LEEA Charity

The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) named Demelza as its charity to support in 2024. Demelza delivers top-notch care to extraordinary children and young people battling serious or life-limiting illnesses and their families across Kent, South East London and East Sussex. Demelza helps take care of children’s and families’ physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs. Physical and creative therapies are provided. The charity also offers short breaks at home; overnight breaks at hospice; and home, community and hospice daycare. For end-of-life care, Demelza nursing and family support teams are available to help. “In naming Demelza our charity for 2024, we want to create as much support as we can throughout our membership and the lifting industry to help this amazing organization carry out its extraordinary work,” LEEA CEO Ross Moloney said. LEEA members are encouraged to start their own fundraising campaigns and are thanked in advance for their donations and help.
