Developer Lendlease has applied to increase the height of a planned residential tower by eight stories, The Urban Developer reported on April 1. The additional levels for the tower will provide an additional 32 apartments below the penthouse levels. The additional stories will create a 5,650 m2 extension and give the building a height increase from 208 m to 233 m. The tower is part of a three-building plan. The second tower, known as Residences Two, will include full-floor and part-floor homes, as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations. The project was originally approved in late 2017. The 72-storey Residences One is planned to reach 250 m. It made headlines two years ago with the country’s most expensive residential sale, an AUD140-million (US$107.1-million), two-level penthouse/sub-penthouse apartment. The third tower, at 30-stories and 107 m, remains the shortest of the three.
