U.K.-based elevator signalization company Dewhurst will launch its new weatherproof pushbutton on May 31. Designed for outdoor applications, the pushbutton was engineered to handle all types of weather, using a proprietary waterproof technology integrated within Dewhurst’s latest compact 3 XR pushbutton body. This circular pushbutton has been tested to IP55 and comprises five elements: switch body, illumination, pressel, molded seal and O ring and C3 IP-protected surround. The character or symbol can include braille, the pressel finish can be customized, and the legend and halo can be illuminated in various colors.
