Elevator Conference of New York (ECNY) and NAESA International plan to present a continuing-education, one-day seminar for ECNY members in good standing on April 18 or April 19. From 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. each day, Code Update of the ASME A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators & Escalators provides a total of 1.0 CEU credits for 2023. The seminar will be held at Villa Barone Manor, 737 Throgs Neck Expressway, Bronx, NY 10465. The cost is US$350, which includes coffee breaks and lunch. Those planning to attend are encouraged to register early, as spots are expected to fill up fast. ECNY plans to accept registrations, space permitting, through March 20, and can answer any questions at email. “We are very happy to have NAESA again present these two, one-day seminars, repeating the first day’s course on the second day,” ECNY stated.
