Elevator/Escalator Installer/Repairer Tops Job List

A recently released Resume Genius report using data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics looked at high-earning jobs that don’t require a college degree, and elevator and escalator installer and repairer made the top of the list with a median annual salary of US$102,420 and a growth rate of 6%, according to an article by Entrepreneur. The researchers compiled the report requiring that the professions had to have at least $48,060 in annual salary and have high or stable growth rates. The source clarifies that, while the jobs listed don’t require a four-year degree, they do require training. Resume Genius recommends thinking about alternatives to four-year degrees, like certificate programs from trade schools, apprenticeship programs and technical bootcamps, when thinking about becoming competitive for the listed roles. Other jobs on the list include electrical power-line installer and repairer, aircraft and avionics equipment mechanic and technician, etc.
