A fall from an escalator at an Edmonton Oilers hockey game at Rogers Place in the Ice District in Edmonton, Canada, sent a man to the hospital on December 7, Global News is among outlets to report. The man, in his late 20s, fell as he was exiting the building and was in “serious but stable condition,” according to Alberta Health Services. A spokesman for Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) said the man had been sitting on the escalator handrail when he fell backward. OEG told the source it is gathering information about the incident and that it expresses its support for the man’s family and wishes him a full recovery.
