Three Fujitec-affiliated companies won an Award of Excellence in the Digital Signage Awards 2024 entertainment category for the Immersive Elevator, which “provides people with an emotional experience through the fusion of LED vision and a musical sound,” Fujitec announced on July 8. When the elevator is rising, images suggesting an uplifting mood are projected; when it is going down, images evoke “emotional healing.” A laser scanner on the side walls allows visual images to change in response to the user’s hand movement. Visuals and music for the Immersive Elevator were conceived by Fujitec Co., Ltd. and developed by Cloudpoint, Inc., and Senyo Music Management Co., Ltd. An Immersive Elevator is installed at Big Wing in Japan’s Shiga Prefecture, where Fujitec’s headquarters, R&D department and production base are located.
