Global Tardif (GT), headquartered in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec, Canada, tells ELEVATOR WORLD it has been tapped by Elpro Elevators to provide four duplex machine-room-less (MRL) elevators making 13 and 17 stops and a glass MRL atrium elevator making three stops to the final phase of Aqua Waterfront Village in Kelowna, British Columbia. Delivery is scheduled in 2024. Located at 550 Truswell Road, Aqua is a multitower, waterfront, master-planned resort community overlooking Okanagan Lake. It is being developed by Kelowna-based Mission Group with completion anticipated in 2026. The final phase will offer 261 residences of various sizes and configurations and a vast array of amenities, including a pool, two hot tubs, an outdoor dining area, a two-story fitness center and the Aqua Boat Club that offers, according to Mission Group, “unencumbered access to a fleet of high-end vessels as part of its boat-sharing program.”
