Hitachi Lift India Receives Order for 56 Elevators and Escalators

Hitachi Ltd. announced on October 17 that Hitachi Building Systems Co. Ltd. and Hitachi Ltd. subsidiary Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. secured an order for 56 elevators and escalators for CRC The Flagship, a prestigious commercial project in Noida, India. CRC Group placed the order for 44 elevators including units with a rated speed of up to 150m/min, 12 escalators and a destination-dispatch system. The elevators are equipped with an earthquake emergency operation feature that detects seismic activity and stops the units quickly on the nearest floor so passengers can evacuate. Hitachi Ltd. Corporate Officer and Hitachi India Managing Director Bharat Kaushal the subsidiary’s “burgeoning partnership with India for over nine decades is growing at an unprecedented pace” and that it remains a committed as “an integral partner in India’s transformational journey.” CRC Group, he said, has been “instrumental in further strengthening the resilient infrastructural landscape of the nation.”
