KONE is drawing attention as playing a major role in the Expo 2020 event in Dubai, Trade Arabia recently reported. KONE, serving as the national partner of the Finland Pavilion, is helping visitors discover the country’s natural beauty and innovation for education, sustainable technologies and health and wellbeing. The company is showcasing its advanced digitalized products and solutions, including the DX Class elevator, the first digitally connected elevator series using KONE’s digital platform and secure APIs to connect a new suite of solutions and services to improve the flow of people in new and existing buildings. For Expo 2020, KONE is presenting its products in what the source calls an “accessible setting” for visitors to experience advanced digital solutions. Among them are ordering elevator use through their phones and being able to see delivery robots connecting to the lift independently. Guests also learn how to include personalized elevator playlists that can be changed according to the time and mood of the specific day. Expo 2020 began on October 1, 2021, and will continue through March 31, 2022.
