KONE U.A.E. announced it received a prestigious Taqdeer Award for its efforts to promote and protect the welfare of workers in the construction industry. Recognizing and rewarding “excellence in labor relations, strengthening the Emirate of Dubai’s position as home of the Middle East’s most progressive employers,” the new award was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Katoum. It is currently open only to Dubai-based companies in the construction sector but will eventually expand to other industries. The KONE U.A.E. team includes Managing Director Azzam Mesaykeh, Human Resources Manager Bamit Tandon and Finance Manager Khalil AlAmad, who were on hand during a November 29 ceremony at the Dubai World Trade Center to accept the award.
