KONE Unveils New Innovative Solutions at Inaugural Event

Finland’s KONE unveiled new solutions aimed at improving sustainability, productivity and adaptability in construction during the inaugural KONE Experience on March 31. Held both in-person and virtually, the first-of-its-kind event brought together “major players in the built environment to take action. . .to create a better future for our customers, for people who live in cities and for future generations,” KONE CEO Henrik Ehrnrooth said. “By bringing some of the most influential voices together, we are taking this opportunity to shape our industry to set new standards for the future of the built environment.” A range of new products were introduced, including:

  • KONE Construction Time Use solution that now includes KONE 24/7 Connected Services
  • A new, standardized version of KONE JumpLiftTM for machine-room-less elevators
  • Elevators that are fully compatible with timber-based buildings and elevator shafts
  • An option for a carbon-neutral elevator
  • The KONE 24/7 Planner digital solution

The OEM also announced its DX Class elevators, which offer connectivity and a customizable user experience, will now be available in the U.S. and Canada.
