Liberty Recognizes Nietubyc for 50 Years in the Industry

Zenon Nietubyc, Mr. Z

Liberty Elevator Corp., headquartered in New Jersey with offices in NYC and Florida, in July recognized Zenon Nietubyc (Mr. Z) for 50 years in the elevator industry. Since starting his career with Otis in Harrison, New Jersey, in 1973, Nietubyc has seen the evolution of technology and held “almost every possible position within the industry” — draftsman, field operations supervisor and engineering department consultant, to name a few. Over the past 50 years, Mr. Z has worked alongside a who’s who in the elevator industry, as well as three generations of leadership at Liberty. Working on the World Trade Center in the 1970s and the Statue of Liberty in both the 1980s and again in the 2010s, Nietubyc has been involved in countless iconic elevator installations across the Mid-Atlantic region. Liberty Marketing Director Dru Brooks said “the past 50-year history of vertical transportation in New York and New Jersey can’t be told without mentioning Zenon Nietubyc.” — submitted by Liberty Elevator Corp.
