Dennis Lotter has been promoted from vice president to president of American Elevator Group (AEG) company Jersey Elevator Co., succeeding John Sweeney, who is retiring, AEG announced earlier this month. Lotter joined Jersey Elevator as a test team helper in 1997, having first become interested in the industry while overseeing elevator modernization projects in a prior facilities management role. With a CET® certification, Lotter has worked for Jersey Elevator for more than 26 years, most of that time as maintenance supervisor. Describing Lotter as having “a passion for all things mechanical,” AEG said he comes to his new role with a wealth of experience and wished him “every success as he begins the next chapter of his career.”
