Monteferro India MD B.S. Kumaraswamy’s Birthday Celebrated

The birthday of B.S. Kumaraswamy, managing director (MD) of Monteferro India Guiderails and Elevator Parts Pvt. Ltd., witnessed a convergence of vertical-transportation (VT) industry members in Bengaluru earlier this month. Attendees including Ragunath G, director of Virgo Communications and representing ELEVATOR WORLD India (EWI), were among guests who felicitated Kumaraswamy in a traditional South Indian manner. In a LinkedIn post, Kumaraswamy thanked the many Bengaluru-based elevator companies, Aarve Group, suppliers, colleagues, EWI and well-wishers in attendance. Kumaraswamy has a B.S. in electrical engineering and an MBA in marketing from Bengaluru University. He has more than 35 years’ experience in the VT industry, including serving as deputy general manager, marketing, for TK Elevator India. With a career encompassing both complete elevators systems and components, Kumaraswamy is also secretary for the Elevator and Escalator Component Manufacturer Association of India.
