NEOM, a new urban area planned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced its latest offering, a luxury tourism destination called Epicon, Al Arabiya News reports. Located on the Gulf of Aqaba, Epicon will feature two towers at heights of 225 m and 275 m, respectively. Appearing to rise from NEOM’s desert landscape “like a glistening mirage,” the towers will comprise 41 ultra-premium hotel rooms and 14 luxury residences. Epicon resort will be situated near the towers and feature 120 rooms and 45 residential beach villas. The destination will offer various amenities, including a beach club, spas, recreational activities and water sports. The announcement of Epicon follows NEOM’s recent unveiling of ecotourism offering Leyja, which will be home to three boutique hotels led by luxury hospitality group Habitas.
