Otis Worldwide Corp. has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies for 2024, and this is the company’s third consecutive year on the list. Otis ranked 187 out of 600 companies listed this year. The annual list ranks companies in the U.S. based on publicly available data, including ESG (environmental, social and governance) reports, financial disclosures and public commitments, as well as an independent survey of U.S. citizens about their perception of company activities related to corporate social responsibility. Most recently, Otis committed to set near-term science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets for Scopes 1, 2 and 3, against a 2021 baseline, which have been formally submitted to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) for evaluation. To learn more about Otis’ ESG goals and progress toward them, read the 2022 Otis ESG report.
