Otis Market Group Lead U.K. & Nordics and MD U.K. Bierer Transitions to VP, Global Business Development

After four years with Otis in the U.K., the last two overseeing the U.K. and Nordics markets, Andy Bierer has taken on a new role within Otis Elevator Co.: vice president (VP), Global Business Development. Over the past more than nine years with Otis, Bierer has held regional general manager and director roles in the U.S., served as executive director and operating unit lead for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and served as chief of staff to Otis President and CEO Judy Marks. He also worked in service and modernization sales previously for Otis for nearly five years, starting in 2007. In between, he was a district manager for Schindler group in the NYC area. “I’m looking forward to the new adventures, but moving on with the indelible marks left by many customers, colleagues and friends,” Bierer said upon announcing his new role. “You’ve made my time here very special. I wish everyone across the Otis EMEA region continued success in the new year and beyond.”
