Otis Elevator Co. Chair, President and CEO Judy Marks and colleagues rang the Closing Bell® at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in NYC’s Financial District on February 15 following Otis’ 2024 Investor Day. Observing the occasion was a first since Otis became an independent company, Otis Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer Abbe Luersman said the event was “an important milestone for all 71,000 of our colleagues around the world.” Marks earlier hosted Otis’ Investor Day at the NYSE, highlighting accelerating portfolio growth with service sales growing in at least the mid-single digits, new-equipment share gains and plans to return more than US$8 billion in capitol to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases through 2028. Addressing colleagues, Luersman said, “Your innovative spirit, dedication to excellence and commitment to each other has helped lead us to this moment.”
