Otis tells ELEVATOR WORLD it provided an elevator system that includes two Gen3TM Edge machine-room-less elevators and the Otis ONETM Internet of Things remote-monitoring solution for 1510 Broadway, a new eight-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY. Designed by Gluck+ and developed by MacQuesten Development and East Brooklyn Housing Development Corp., the property offers 108 residential rental units that are 90% affordable, with the remainder set aside for formerly homeless individuals, New York YIMBY reported. Completing construction on a formerly vacant lot in October, 1510 Broadway also includes 9,000 ft2 of ground-level retail.
