Otis is among 33 companies named 2022 Noteworthy Companies by DiversityInc, which provides a comprehensive survey that collects data across six key areas: leadership accountability, human capital diversity metrics, talent programs, workforce practices, supplier diversity and philanthropy. The “Noteworthy” designation recognizes companies that have the potential to make DiversityInc’s Top 50 List. In announcing the recognition on May 4, Otis observed it is one of several recent accolades, including being named one of Fortune’s Most Admired Companies and being among the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality, according to the Human Rights Campaign. In 2020, Otis laid out “Our Commitment to Change” in response to “urgent problems of social injustice and systemic racism.” Otis Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer Abbe Luersman said Otis “strives to create an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel safe, welcomed and heard.”
