A Pakistan Senate committee meeting in Islamabad is recommending the construction of tall government apartment buildings to replace old houses in a plan optimize land use in the capital, DAWN reports. In the past, large single-story structures have been built in various sectors. Officials note that these houses cover multiple acres of city land.
