PAPL, Ardelisys Launch IoT-Based Elevator Monitoring System at SLM World in India

On March 2 during Smart Lift & Mobility World 2024 in Bangalore, India, PAPL Corp., in partnership with Ardelisys Technologies Pvt. Ltd., announced the launch of K A L A, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based, noninvasive elevator monitoring system. The product, along with its value-added service, will be available on a subscription basis across India starting in August. Available for lifts of any age, brand, model or location, including existing lifts, K A L A is noninvasive in the sense it is not plugged into or connected to any of the lift’s controllers or components. Performance data is recorded using sensors and sent to a cloud-based platform for analysis, and anomalies are flagged. The OEM is guided through interpreting defects and addressing events. PAPL observed it “brings its vertical-transportation (VT) expertise to the table, while Ardelisys brings its domain expertise in the field of building automation.”
