Ping

Teoh Tze Ping, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy, electronics and IT industries, including in managerial positions, has been named KONE Malaysia managing director (MD). In making the October 19 announcement, KONE Malaysia observed it supports the nation’s “smart city goals through the use of technology in buildings to enhance quality of life and create a more sustainable living environment.” Ping’s background includes stints with companies such as Philips, Samsung, Microsoft and, most recently, Schneider Electric. KONE Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa Executive Vice President Samer Halabi said Ping’s strong track record in client relations and business growth promises to help “take KONE Malaysia to its next phase of growth.”
