Liberty Development has submitted applications to the City of Toronto to build seven towers from 10 to 45 stories tall in the Etobicoke district, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat reports. The 2-ha piece of property on the south side of Bloor Street West currently houses the Six Points Plaza shopping mall and a detached commercial structure. Designed by IBI Group, the proposal is divided into four mixed-use blocks and a public park west of Beamish Drive. The towers would be mostly residential, and the park would have paths and sidewalks providing connectivity throughout the development.
