TKE Launches MAX in Canada to Expand Digital Product

TKE, in an artistically designed image promoting the use of MAX in Toronto, Canada, shows how the system will improve the elevator and escalator operation.

TK Elevator (TKE) has launched its MAX system in Canada, the OEM announced on May 18. MAX, the elevator industry’s first IoT predictive maintenance solution, identifies potential issues before they occur, enabling maximum elevator and escalator uptime and efficiency. Now available throughout Canada, MAX collects data on components, systems and performance. Since introducing MAX to the U.S. market in 2015, TKE has expanded its capabilities to include enhanced data analysis and sophisticated communications. Earlier this year, TKE launched MAX Link, which provides code-compliant connectivity to elevator emergency communications equipment to better support passengers requiring immediate assistance. The company notes it has installed MAX on more than 86,000 elevators and escalators in the U.S. alone and has been expanding MAX installations worldwide.
