TK Elevator (TKE) is expanding its portfolio of safe and convenient mobility services for passengers and airport visitors in China with more than 100 elevators customized with voice and gesture controls for the new T3B terminal at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, an important air traffic hub in the western Chinese major economic zone of Chengdu-Chongqing. Users will be able to simply call and operate the elevators through hand gestures and voice command. This helps to avoid physical interaction with elevator surfaces and buttons that are prone to attracting viruses and bacteria. The expansion of the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is set to be a key growth driver and one of the most important infrastructure enhancements for Western China in the nation’s 14th Five-Year Plan, which outlines China’s strategy to further advance its economic and social development until 2025. TKE ‘s elevators, escalators and moving walks are represented at international and domestic airports including Beijing, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Inner Mongolia, as well as the more than 300 already installed elevators at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
