In addition to the U.A. E. division of KONE, TK Elevator (TKE) U.A.E. announced it also received a prestigious Taqdeer Award for its efforts to promote and protect the welfare of workers in the construction industry. Recognizing and rewarding “excellence in labor relations, strengthening the Emirate of Dubai’s position as home of the Middle East’s most progressive employers,” the new award was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Katoum. It is currently open only to Dubai-based companies in the construction sector but will eventually expand to other industries. TKE U.A.E. and Bahrain Managing Director Sergio Garzon joined members of his team to accept the award during a ceremony on November 30 at the Dubai World Trade Center. “The whole U.A.E. team achieved this, and we will achieve more together in this new year,” Garzon said.
