Castrol Announces Sale of LubeCon Business to LubeCon USA

White Cloud, Michigan-headquartered Castrol (BP Lubricants USA) has agreed to sell its LubeCon business to LubeCon USA, effective May 31. LubeCon USA was formed by members of Castrol LubeCon management who collectively have more than 75 years’ experience in industrial lubrication. LubeCon manufactures lubrication products and services for conveyance equipment in industries that include vertical transportation (VT). Its fully automated and programmable Advanced Lubrication System for escalators and traction elevators features shot-to-point technology that provides the right amount of specialized lubricant “at the right place, at the right time, every time.” LubeCon USA will remain a strategic partner of Castrol and authorized nationwide distributor of its fluids. Mark Anderson, who joined Castrol LubeCon in 2018 with a combined 10 years’ experience at Otis and TK Elevator, will become national account manager-VT at LubeCon USA.
