Hubert H. Hayes, Inc. is a full-service elevator-consulting firm located in Brooklyn, New York. The firm provides consulting to building owners and managers and to architects and engineers. Field surveys and evaluations of existing elevators in all types of buildings are provided, as well as modernization specifications and design services for new elevators. The firm also provides witnessing for New York City mandated Category 1 and Category 5 elevator and escalator tests and QEI elevator inspections throughout the Northeast.

Mr. Reynolds has had extensive experience in the elevator industry since the late 1980’s which include positions as elevator and escalator mechanic, supervisor, and, most recently, consultant for numerous projects. His widespread knowledge encompasses virtually all building types, sizes, and elevator applications.  John’s responsibilities include general vertical transportation consulting activities for new construction projects and existing properties, specializing in mid-rise and high-rise commercial office, residential and institutional buildings where he performs traffic analyses, prepares contract documents, analyzes bids, and executes contract administration. Mr. Reynolds holds contractors’ licenses in two states.  He also holds a Qualified Elevator Inspector license (QEI) under the ASME A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators.
