Indiana County Uses Pandemic Funding for Elevators

In Columbus, Indiana, the Bartholomew County Commissioners have approved using federal coronavirus relief funds to address “a growing number of elevator woes” at county buildings, The Republic reports. The commissioners approved approximately US$460,362 in quotes to repair or perform preventative maintenance on four elevators at the Bartholomew County Jail and Bartholomew County Government Office Building. Officials are also working to replace an elevator at the public library.
