Bruno Independent Living Aids, a leading provider of accessibility solutions based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, announced on November 3 the acquisition of Terry Group Ltd. (Terry Lifts), a manufacturer of home elevators and platform lifts based in Cheshire, U.K. The acquisition strengthens Bruno's market share and expands its reach into new geographic regions and complementary product categories. Launched in 1984, Bruno is a veteran- and family-owned company that crafts made-in-the-U.S. stairlifts, scooter lifts and platform lifts from its Wisconsin headquarters. Since its founding in 1948, Terry Lifts has built a solid reputation in design, manufacturing and service with operations in the U.K. and distribution throughout Europe and Australia. Bruno President and CEO Mike Bruno said the acquisition "marks an exciting milestone our growth strategy."
