Toledo, Ohio-headquartered Wurtec, a leading provider of elevator tools, components and engineered solutions, is proud to be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Since its founding in 1985 by Steve Wurth, the company “has upheld a legacy of innovation, quality and customer satisfaction while maintaining deep-rooted values as a family business,” Wurtec President Blake Pilgrim said. What began as a small, local operation in Toledo has today grown into an internationally recognized brand with a network of industry partners in more than 50 countries. Wurtec is planning a celebratory event that will bring together industry partners, employees and community leaders on June 27 at company headquarters. “We’re not just celebrating four decades of business; we’re celebrating the relationships and values that have made Wurtec a family for all involved,” Pilgrim said.
